ABOUT THE SHOW
What’s the worst job you’ve ever had? If you ask the employees of Freezer Fresh, most will tell you it’s selling frozen meat to strangers over the phone. After her personal life takes an unexpected turn, Alice finds herself single, jobless, and crashing on her brother’s couch. But it’s not all bad news—Freezer Fresh has an opening.
On the Line is a new office comedy series set in a telemarketing office. The show follows an ensemble cast of characters as they attempt to get through their days with each other and with the strangers they call. No matter how they feel about their jobs, they need them to pay the rent, and with each call they make, their jobs are on the line.
MEET THE CAST
Ashley Grombol is an actor, singer, and writer. She settled in NYC after graduating with a BFA in acting from SMU Meadows School of the Arts. Among other things, she appeared in Amazon Prime’s original series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and collaborated previously with On the Line writer/director Jon Horowitz on his short film Stand Clear.
Alex Teague is an improviser/biologist living in Brooklyn, New York. Alex started doing improv in college and then moved to NYC in 2006 to start classes. He currently performs with the UCB Harold team, Game 7.
Larissa Marten is an actress, writer, and artist based in NYC. She has worked with the Michigan Shakespeare Festival, the Renaissance Theater in Berlin, Germany, and Young Jean Lee’s Theater Company. Her plays have been workshopped, produced, and awarded at/by the Kennedy Center, the Beckwith Theatre Company, the Manhattan Repertory Theatre and the University of Michigan. She has written, developed and produced two solo shows.
Brandon Salerno is a New York-based actor, producer, and writer who has trained at NYU Steinhardt, the Upright Citizens Brigade, and elsewhere. Most recently he appeared as a recurring character in the hit Amazon Prime original series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
Sami Griffith is an actor, singer, and feminist from Reno, Nevada. After graduating magna cum laude from UCSD, Sami moved to NYC, where she completed the CAP21 two-year professional program and industry practicum in 2015. Sami works as an actor and singer, most recently playing Rachel Green in the critically acclaimed touring production Friends! The Musical Parody.
Steven Trolinger is a New York-based theater, film and television actor who trained at Fordham University and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Most recently he appeared in the series Subletters and the forthcoming Dairys of Our Lives.
Elyse Steingold is an actor, comedian, and improviser whose specialties include playing parts that were written for men (Much Ado About Nothing; Anyone Can Whistle), performing comedic choreographed dances (Speech & Debate; You, Me, and That Guy), and playing her own identical twin (Sisters).
Pearl Shin was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and graduated from Boston College. She moved to NYC in 2015 to pursue acting full-time. Recently she appeared in the play Good Friday, which received a rave review in the New York Times.
Michael Propster started his professional theatre career after graduating from Providence College by joining the National Players’ 55th Annual Tour. He went on to graduate from the Brown University/Trinity Rep MFA Acting Program, and has been working professionally as an actor, director, and writer. He’s based in Queens, NY.
Isa Goldberg is a New York-based actor with a BA from Bryn Mawr College and an MBA from Fordham University. Recently she appeared in the Oxygen series Homicide for the Holidays.
Jessica Saul is an actress, comedian, and impressionist originally from South Florida. Upon graduating from FSU with a BA in Theatre and Media Communications, she moved to NYC. Her comedy has been featured at the Women in Comedy Festival in Boston, MA, as well as New York Comedy Club, The Comic Strip Live, The Duplex, Broadway Comedy Club, and The Stand.
