ABOUT: by writer/director Jon Horowitz

I'm very excited to announce that we are currently in pre-production for my new comedic web series On the Line! The six-episode series revolves around Alice (played by Ashley Grombol), who ends up working in a telemarketing office after her personal life takes an unexpected turn.

My goal is to create a series full of interesting and charismatic characters that provide all of the laughs, weirdness, and comraderie of working in a telemarketing office without the viewer ever having to pick up a phone--unless they're watching on their phone...in which case--look, you get the idea.

BUDGET: $2500+

In addition to my own contributions, We've already raised $2000 and are looking to raise another $500+ to cover production costs. The bulk of this will go toward hiring an experienced Production Sound Mixer to make sure our audio is at a professional level. The remaining will go toward set design, craft services, and incidentals during production. I successfully kept costs down and came in under budget ($2000) on my last project (Stand Clear, a short film), and plan to do the same on this project so every dollar we receive is utilized as efficiently as possible.
